Ingredients
Guavas =
02 lbs ripe
yellow or pink
White Sugar =
1 ½ cups
Water =
½ cup
Lemon Juice =
01 tablespoon

Instructions
Wash and cut guavas into quarters.
Remove seeds using a strainer or food mill.
Blend the guava pulp until smooth.
Pour pulp into a saucepan. Add sugar and water.
Cook over medium heat. Stir constantly.
Add lemon juice to balance the sweetness.
Simmer until thick and paste-like.
Stir often to avoid burning.
It will darken and pull from the sides.
When thickened, remove from the heat and cool.
Pour into jars or molds. Let it set.
Store in the fridge for up to three months.
